Favorite Family Photo Locations Around Peachtree City


If you're looking for the perfect place for family photos in Peachtree City, you're in luck. One of the things I love most about living and photographing families here is that we have so many beautiful locations—all within just a few minutes of each other.


Every family has a different style. Some love wide open fields at sunset, while others prefer wooded trails, quiet lakes, or charming downtown backdrops. The good news? Peachtree City has them all.

Here are a few of my favorite locations for creating timeless family portraits.


1. Lake Peachtree

If you're dreaming of glowing sunsets, peaceful water views, and a classic Peachtree City backdrop, it's hard to beat Lake Peachtree. The light here during golden hour is absolutely beautiful, especially in the spring and fall.


2. A Pool

One of the best parts of living in Peachtree City is having access to beautiful pools that make summer memories easy. Whether it's kids splashing in the water, parents relaxing poolside, or the laughter that fills a warm afternoon, the pool is often where some of a family's favorite moments happen. It's the perfect setting for fun, candid photographs that capture the joy of the season and the simple moments you'll want to remember for years to come.


3. Drake Field

Wide-open grass, beautiful evening light, and plenty of room for children to run make this one of my favorite locations for playful family sessions.


4. A Quiet Golf Cart Path

One of my favorite "secret" locations isn't really a destination at all. Some of the prettiest portraits happen along Peachtree City's winding golf cart paths, especially during golden hour when the trees filter the light. It's a uniquely Peachtree City backdrop that immediately feels like home.


5. Your Own Backyard

Some of my favorite sessions have happened right at a family's home. Kids are comfortable, pets can be included, and the photos become even more meaningful because they're taken where your family's story is unfolding.
